THE Guardia Civil has confiscated 4,240 fireworks from a shop in Rincon de la Victoria. The shop, the police force reported, not only lacked permits to sell this type of item but also failed to meet any safety measures and the fireworks were being sold straight out of a box on the counter. Most of the items confiscated were categorised as group two and three, which cannot be sold to under 16s or 18s.
