THE La Majadilla del Muerto area of the Mijas countryside has finally been the recipient of work to improve safety and install signs on lanes and tracks.
During a visit to inspect the work, Rural Areas Councillor Cristobal Gonzalez said: “We’ve already run similar projects in other areas and it was La Majadilla del Muerto’s turn. Everyone wants the way to their home to be as clearly signed as possible so that if needed an ambulance can get there quickly.”
Workers put signs up at the entrances to the different tracks in the area, which have been given nicknames or surnames of well-known local residents by popular demand.”
