Calle Saturno, Nerja.
AFTER more than 4 years of requests from residents, Nerja´s Parks and Gardens Town Council Office has done some necessary cleaning and pruning around Enrique Lopez Cuenca sports complex.
On Calle Saturno, overgrowth was extending across the pavement and even reached part of the street.
The plants were affecting the flow of traffic in one lane, and were a serious safety hazard. The dense vegetation made it difficult to use one of the pavements on the steet, putting pedestrians at risk.
Adjacent streets have also been given attention, to solve similar problems.
