Cucaracha Club actor on set of Bond film

CIA ROLE: Dennis Baer in The Cucaracha Club.

JUST 48 hours after flying back to the UK having completed his scenes as the CIA boss in the Costa Blanca’s first crowd-funded feature film, The Cucaracha Club, actor Dennis Baer AKA Dennis Hewitt, found himself back on the film set.

This time it was alongside Daniel Craig on the set of Spectre, the latest James Bond outing.

Dennis who has become a regular on TV and has starred in a host of feature films, is currently appearing in the latest ITV epic Beowulf shot in his native North East. He is expected to return to Spain in March 2016 for the much-anticipated premiere of The Cucaracha Club.

In the meantime, he will be meeting up with writers Philip Stephen Routledge and Billie Anthony Gaddess to discuss the prospect of part two to the trilogy exploring the lives of ex-secret service agents who retired to Torrevieja only to be recalled to active duty with MI6 and permanently change their lives forever.

Additionally, the ladies who portrayed the caricatures on screen have teamed up to shoot a saucy calendar. For just €5 you too can get a glimpse of these cantily-clad actresses. The calendar is available from a range of locations including: Venture Fleet, Bar Spangles, Kennedy’s British Supermarket and La Campaña in Los Montesinos, Da Vincis, Reflections, Luz da Luna and Bar Kens in San Luis, and  The Card Shop Benimar.
