A MAN has been jailed for 24 years by a Malaga Provincial Court for the brutal murder of his girlfriend, the director of Nerja Museum, in August 2014.
The man, who was recently found guilty of murder and domestic violence by a jury, stabbed his victim 131 times with a knife after hitting her over the head with a wine bottle and dragging her into the bathroom by her hair.
Along with the jail sentence, the judge has ordered the accused to pay €120,000 in damages to his victim’s family.
