FOLLOWING complaints regarding the ambulance service in Casares, local Mayor Jose Carrasco has demanded a meeting with the management of the company that provides the service to insist the conditions of the contract are met.
The request came after the local emergency doctor complained that the ambulance is not available at all times at the health centre as stipulated on the contract.
The local PSOE political group spokesman recently complained that one driver is forced to be on call 24 hours per day every day, which was both against his rights and a danger to the public.
