Although most of Spain has been enjoying particularly calm and pleasant weather so far this month, the spell is set to end at the weekend and the weather agency has forecast drastic temperature drops are on the way.
AEMET State Weather Agency has announced an important change in weather condition as a cold front moves in from the north.
Rain is likely to appear in most areas, and snow is expected in at altitudes as low as 1,000 metres in the northern regions.
Temperatures, the agency forecasts, may drop by as much as 10 ºC between Saturday (November 21) and Sunday in northern areas of Spain and between five and 10 degrees in the south due to the polar air blow in from the north.
As of Monday it is difficult to forecast what the weather will do although the signs point towards a chilly and windy end to November, the agency said.
