Queues on A7 as lorry overturns

TRAFFIC on the A7 motorway ground to a halt early on Friday morning (November 13) after a lorry overturned near El Faro de Calaburras heading towards Fuengirola.

The accident, which happened at about 6.15am, left the lorry on one side across two lanes, forcing police and emergency services staff to divert traffic and requiring two cranes to right it.

The driver, 112 Emergency services Andalucia has reported, was taken to Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella for treatment.
