SECURITY forces in Afghanistan have fired shots into the air at a protest in Kabul as thousands of people joined the march in the Afghan city.
Seven people are reported injured outside the presidential palace in Kabul as police fired shots in an attempt to scatter protestors.
The marchers were protesting the murder of seven people from the Hazara minority. The bodies were found in the province of Zabul and many are pointing to Taliban groups as being responsible.
The private TV channel Ariana News TV has reportedly been stopped from broadcasting live coverage of the marchers by security forces.
