More “space junk” found in Murcia

A second piece of space junk has been found in Murcia this week, close to the place where another mysterious object was discovered just days ago.

Last week shepherds in Murcia found an unusual object in their fields which authorities in Spain believed was a part of a rocket which fell out of the sky and landed in the farmlands.

The second object is very similar to the one found by the shepherds as it is spherical and is reported to be a metre wide and covered in a heat resistant material.

Locals are beginning to get concerned about the mysterious objects which are being found in their area and the Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, has called for more information from the government, saying that the local people are entitled to a proper explanation.

The Guardia Civil were again called to the scene with experts examining the object before taking it away for a more detailed examination.

Authorities have not yet put enough information together to say where the space trash has come from but believe the origin for both objects is related.
