Explosion in Son Oms, Mallorca

ONE person has been seriously injured after an explosion at a Marine company in the industrial area of Son Oms in Mallorca on Tuesday November 10.

Fire fighters, Local and National Police and medical personnel arrived at the scene and the man, who is reported to have suffered serious injuries to his hands, was taken to hospital for treatment.

Can Calafat, the street where the explosion took place, is closed to traffic as investigations are being carried out.
