Sergio Ramos for Real Madrid

AHEAD of El Clasico on November 21, Barcelona are now three points ahead at the top of La Liga after Sevilla won against Real Madrid on Sunday.

Barcelona beat Villareal with ease earlier in the day as Neymar twice found the net in a standout showing for Barcelona. Real Madrid however found little answers for a surging Sevilla side who are now placed tenth in the league after the result.

Real Madrid are second and three points behind the leaders. Sergio Ramos scored first with a deft overhead kick which found the net but also left the defender injured.

Sevilla didn´t sit back and Ciro Immobile, Ever Banega and Fernando Llorente scored for the side. A James Rodriguez goal in the 90th minute wasn´t enough for Real Madrid who looked less sure in defence without Ramos.

Gareth Bale returned from injury for Real Madrid but it was Sevilla, whose last game against Manchester City ended in a defeat for the Spanish side, who looked sharper and ultimately did enough to bag an important win.
