Scandinavians calling

PRESENCE at travel fairs and increased promotion are helping attract more Scandinavian visitors to Almuñecar and the Costa Tropical this autumn, local tourism sector members have reported.

Following the end of the summer season, increasingly large numbers of visitors are heading to the area to enjoy autumn breaks from Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.

Visitors, hotels and tour operators have reported, spend three, four and up to five weeks in the area making the most of the kind weather conditions and everything it has to offer and also make trips to Andalucian attractions including Granada, Cordoba and further afar, operators explained.
