Alleged burglars arrested

FOUR Eastern European people suspected of being behind a wave of burglaries in the Axarquia area, most of them in Rincon de la Victoria, have been arrested by the Guardia Civil.

The first group member was arrested while allegedly burgling a bar in Torre de Benagalbon last week and officers were able to discover where the group was staying.

Surveillance on the rented home quickly led to the arrest of a further three suspects, believed to have been carrying out burglaries from residential and commercial properties at night.
