Swedish capital Stockholm.
AN explosion in the Swedish capital of Stockholm at 11.40am local time on Friday morning November 6 is reported to have been caused by a gas leak.
The explosion was in central Stockholm near Brännkyrkagatan on Södermalm and witnesses told local media that it was “powerful.”
Police have arrived at the scene and have blocked off the street. They have stated that there are “no signs of crime” and went on to say that the explosion was not as significant as originally thought.
The owner of the apartment where the incident took place has been contacted and police confirmed that the exact details are yet to be clarified.
