HEALTH centres in the Balearic Islands are now being given flu vaccinations to the members of the population who are most at risk.
The Health Department estimates that 142,500 doses will be given between now and mid-December. Those most at risk are people over 65 years old, adults and children with chronic heart and respiratory illnesses, patients with kidney problems, the obese and people whose immune system is weakened. It is also recommendable for pregnant women, and people who work or live with any of the groups mentioned above.
