Provincial President, César Sanchez, met with the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Alicante, Jose Enrique Garrigós to address the details of this project that aims to promote golf tourism, and that can be seasonally adjusted to keep visitors arriving throughout the year.
The president of the Association of Golf Courses of the Costa Blanca. Salvador Lucas also attended the meeting. “This report will allow us to see first hand the economic impact that golf has in our province, a sport that attracts many visitors and that brings in our fields over half a million people a year,” said Sanchez. “This tourist product generates considerable business figures in our economy, which has positive effects on job creation,” he added. The results will be submitted during the first quarter of 2016.
