BIOPARC in Valencia celebrated Halloween at the park, with many of the animals enjoying the annual celebration.
Leopards, elephants, gorillas, meerkats, chimpanzees, and many more found pumpkins and special treats in their enclosures for Halloween aimed to encourage their natural behaviors, inquisitiveness and playfulness.
The concept of Bioparc is to immerse visitors into the animals’ habit, not vice versa.
This means that the park does not use railings and cage, instead using rivers, ponds, streams and rocks to separate the visitors from the animals, and great care has been taken to reproduce the natural eco-systems, which includes an important collection of African flora.
