La Viñuela floodgate maintenance notice

ROUTINE maintenance work is due on the floodgates at La Viñuela reservoir from 10am onwards on Tuesday, November 3, meaning there will be water in the river which could carry strong currents, especially a couple of kilometres downriver from the reservoir.

The council’s agricultural department has explained that the work is part of routine maintenance operations under reservoir regulations, which locals must be informed of in advance.
