MALAGA council has approved a plan to identify and neuter the almost 2,000 stray or feral cats in the city.
A manifesto approved by the Sustainability commission includes this and another nine points aimed to protect and control the estimated 120 stray cat colonies in the city, which will be supervised by animal charity volunteers.
Controlled and neutered cat colonies, the council has decided, are the best way to protect the feral cats and reduce the chances of them causing problems.
