Bale is back in Almeria

CHRISTIAN BALE is in Pulpi, filming ‘The Promise.’ The movie is directed by Terry George who directed ‘Hotel Rwanda’ and wrote the ‘In the name of the Father’ screenplay.

This is Bale’s second film in Almeria Province, following ‘Exodus’ in 2013. ‘The Promise’ is set in the final days of the Ottoman Empire in the early 1920s, with Bale playing an American reporter.

The choice of Pulpi was welcomed by Pulpi’s Tourism councillor Juan Bautista: “It provides great publicity,” he said.
