A DINGHY carrying migrants reported missing on Wednesday afternoon October 28 has been located 52 miles south of the Malaga coast, but at least 39 of the people reportedly onboard have disappeared.
Spanish Marine Rescue teams located the dinghy shortly after noon on Thursday October 29, after receiving reports that it had set off from the Moroccan coast in the early hours of Wednesday carrying more than 50 people.
Yet upon arrival lifeguards found that the dinghy had broken and just 15 people, 13 men and two women, were clinging to the sides. One of these people later said that the accident happened at 2am and many of the passengers disappeared.
Lifeboats and helicopters continue searching for signs of the missing migrants.
