Use the right bins, Mijas Council asks

MIJAS Council has put out a request for beachside residents to refrain from throwing their domestic waste into coastal path litter bins following complaints from passersby.

There are specific organic waste bins for this purpose near the A7 motorway, Beaches Councillor Angel Nozal reminded residents, and the Local Police force has been informed of the problem.

Although most locals dispose of their waste correctly, there are a few who are giving the area a bad image, especially by residential complexes such as Los Cordobeses and Alhamar, Nozal explained.
