Two Teulada-Moraira entrepreneurs make the finals

TWO residents from the Teulada-Moraira area will be showcasing their business initiative at the finals of the Top Creation business entrepreneurial youth event, which awards the best business initiatives, to be celebrated on October 29 at the fourteenth youth gala ceremony.

Carolina Valles and Cristina Carracedo are among the top entrants from the province of Alicante, the winners of the event will receive €3,000 cash prize.

Carlos Linares, Mayor of Teulada Moraira and Dani Ibanco, the youth councillor have met with the pair to offer their full support and find out more about their projects. Carolina Valles, a 28 year old Psychology master from the Universitat Jaume I, and Cristina Carracedo, also 28, who has obtained a degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Salamanca are the creators of the Marinalia project, an online shopping mall for the targeting residents of the Marina Alta.

Marinalia has been operating for one year and has an average of 1400 visits a day. On the site visitors will find leisure, beauty, culture, food, sport and adventure business among others from around the region.

Carolina Cristina and told us that their main target are young people between 25 and 35 years and their business objective is to consolidate the Marinalia project in the region and in future expand it to include the Marina Baja.
