EMPLOYEES celebrated a legal victory and return to work this week at the Coca-Cola factory near Madrid after blocking its closure in court.
In January 2014, Coca-Cola Iberian Partners announced that more than a thousand workers would lose their jobs at the bottling plant in Fuenlabrada, south of Madrid. Out of the thousands laid off, 220 employees refused to accept their fate.
As workers arrived to start their shifts, colleagues greeted them with a guard of honour.
