Attempted theft at Son Ferriol filling station

A MAN, 32, was arrested by Binissalem Local Police for allegedly attempting to steal a bag full of money from a petrol pump attendant in Son Ferriol.                                                                              

He first tried without success to steal a carafe of fuel, and shortly afterwards, returned and asked an attendant to approach his car window. He then grabbed the pouch containing money which the employee had around his waist, and dragged him more than 20 metres before fleeing.

National Police who found he was hiding in Binissalem where he lives, identified him.
