Networking meeting in Sotogrande to help charity

THE Shaw Marketing Services’ networking group for the Western Costa del Sol has announced that 100 per cent of the proceeds from their October 21 event will be donated to charity Nuevo Hogar Betania to fund their project to give free hot meals to the homeless or people at risk of social exclusion.

This monthly, bilingual networking event is usually held in Manilva, but will be moving to different parts of the Western Costa del Sol to unite the business community from Estepona to Sotogrande. It gives entrepreneurs a friendly and open environment to build their network, find suppliers and make new contacts, whilst raising money for a great cause.

The networking event costs €5 to include the networking activities and refreshments and all proceeds will be donated to Nuevo Hogar Betania. Each €5 entry fee will enable the charity to feed two very vulnerable people and the target is to fund 100 meals. The event is being held at the Sala Multiusos in Pueblo Nuevo, Sotogrande, next to the church from 6.30pm to 8pm and all business people are welcome.

San Roque Town Hall are supporting this event to benefit local businesses and work together with companies from other parts of the Western Costa del Sol and representatives from the town hall and Nuevo Hogar Betania will be present.

This group is led by marketing and networking expert Georgina Shaw from Shaw Marketing Services, who is passionate about creating a strong group to support the local business community and wants to use this platform to raise money for charity.

“I strongly believe that all businesses should make a positive impact on their community and our October networking event will be a great way to support businesses whilst raising much needed funds. We hope as many people as possible will come and take part.”
