Boko Haram fighters
YET more explosions have taken place in the Nigerian city of Maiduguri with three bombs exploding on October 13 killing four people and two more explosions on October 15 which killed at least 42 more people according to reports received from Nigeria.
A suicide bomber is blamed for the first bombing in a mosque near Maiduguri and a second bomber targeted the crowds trying to escape the mosque according to the Nigerian National Emergency Management Agency.
Although no group has claimed responsibility for these attacks, it generally assumed that they were the actions of Islamist group Boko Haram which was responsible for an attack in September which killed over 90 people, although the specific reasons for targeting the mosque are unclear.
