NATIONAL POLICE in Torremolinos have broken up one of the area’s most active drug sales points and arrested a pub owner and a waitress.
Investigations began after the force was tipped off that drugs were being sold at a local pub, and surveillance revealed that customers placed orders at the bar. The owner, a 59-year-old man, then went to his home just metres away to collect the drugs, which he handed over the bar concealed in a glasses case.
After searching the pub and the owner’s home, officers confiscated 300 grams of rock cocaine and arrested the owner and a 45-year-old waitress.
The owner has been sent to jail to await trial.
