Scottish football fans make generous donation

ALTHOUGH somewhat disappointed not to have qualified for the Euro 2016 finals and their team having savaged Gibraltar 6-0 in their most recent match, Scottish supporters showed they had a heart when donating £5,000 (€7,000) to the Rainbow Ward at St Bernard’s Hospital on October 10.

Six members from the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal delivered the cheque, together with a motion from the Scottish Parliament recognising the work carried out by all of the staff at the hospital.
