A WOMAN from Malaga City and three of her relatives have been arrested for allegedly using children and a mentally disabled girl as intermediaries for small-scale drug dealing operations.
Following an investigation by the National Police force, officers raided a shop and home in the city’s La Palmilla district and confiscated 18 prepared doses of cocaine, €1,000 in cash and tools believed to be used to manipulate drugs.
Surveillance by plainclothes officers prior to the raid confirmed their suspicions that the shop was being used as a cover-up for small-scale drug sales and that various minors and the disabled girl, the main suspect’s niece, were used to carry drugs in their pockets in an aim to avoid police detection.
