Woman injured in three-metre fall

A WOMAN in her thirties was injured after falling from a height of approximately three metres in Magaluf. She was taken to Son Espases Hospital with slight head injuries after being treated at the scene by paramedics.

A Swedish tourist in her forties was also taken to Son Espases after falling off a Segway on Palma seafront promenade and sustaining injuries to her head and back. She was attended by Port Police until paramedics arrived.

An English tourist, 72, was taken to Muro Hospital after almost drowning off Formentor Beach. She was found, floating unconscious in the sea, by lifeguards. They took her to shore, performed first aid and gave her oxygen. She regained consciousness before being taken to hospital. Guardia Civil and Local Police attended the scene.
