Park visit for exchange students

MORE than 200 Erasmus exchange students recently visited the Cabo de Gata- Nija national park.

They were spending an ‘Integration Weekend’ there, organised by the international Erasmus Student Network and the Almeria Erasmus association.

Nijar Mayor Esperanza Perez Felices and the town hall’s Youth Councillor Ainhoa Salmeron welcomed them in the Rodalquilar amphitheatre.

“Right now you are in a national park and biosphere reserve that you will remember for years to come,” Perez said, adding that she hoped that they would all want to return one day in the future.
