THE municipal indoor pool of Crist Rei (Inca) did not resume its activity last Thursday (October 1), as planned.
The Council’s Sports Department explained in a statement that there are several deficiencies which need to be sorted out before reopening the pool, which is expected to happen in around 10 days. He apologised for the inconvenience to the more than 1,000 users.
During the next days, the town council will focus on fixing the leaks on the roof, changing pool filters and replacing the heat water pump.
“We are working as fast as we can,” said a representative, who continued: “We have delayed the reopening to be cautious. Obviously, we will not charge users for the month of October.”
