THE Environment Department of the Rincon de la Victoria Council has announced great results from the intense cleaning campaign launched by the town council back in the middle of July.
Works included tackling 12 areas, which were considered to be ‘black spots’ due to their state of abandonment and which needed urgent care, according to the councillor in charge, Jose Maria Gomez. Strategic points such as the Torre Vigia in Torre de Benagalbon, the Miradora and Torre de El Cantal and other areas that usually receive a large number of tourists received special attention.
Mayor of the town, Encarnacion Anaya, expressed her satisfaction with the development of works and said the local government’s commitment is to keep Rincon de la Victoria in its best state.
