NATIONAL POLICE in Motril have arrested a 67-year-old man accused of owning arms and ammunition without having the compulsory licence.
The detainee’s former wife attended the town’s police station saying they were both legally divorced and claimed that he would constantly threaten her, indicating that the man had different firearms and ammunition in his garage.
Once inside the property, police found two rifles and a 10-cartridge ammunition box.
The man was taken into custody.
