Leaving from the Katmandu Park, it was well attended, and the mayor, Alfonso Rodriguez, accompanied by other members of the local council, was present at the starting point.

The €10 per adult and €5 per child paid by participants will go to the Ses Minyones Children’s Home, Joves Navegants (which helps underprivileged children by teaching them sailing), the RANA Foundation against child abuse, Proyecto Hombre (which helps people with drug-related problems and their families), the Allen Graham Charity for Kids and the Esplai Foundation for Education.
