LAST week’s storms caused a number of incidents in Mallorca, most notably a building evacuation and a closed road.
Mallorca fire brigade and Lloseta Local Police were sent out to check on the state of a four-storey block of flats on Calle Garcia Lorca, and found it was at risk of collapsing. The 11 residents had to be evacuated and were told they would not be allowed home for a few days.
Meanwhile, a landslide on the MA-10 Andratx-Estellencs road damaged tarmac, leading to the road being closed for a few days for clearing and repairs.
