SCHOOL BUS: Parents demand a safe and accessible service for their children.
STUDENTS from rural areas who go to the IES School Haygon in San Vicente del Raspeig have to walk six kilometres to the nearest school bus stop. Parents are demanding that the education department provides a safe and accessible service for their children that is within the limit of three kilometres.
Citing the lack of footpaths, adequate street lighting and busy traffic areas as other reasons why the journey is not suitable for children, parents have suggested that the current route be divided into two separate ones, to alleviate the problem and shorten journey times.
