Road works in Rey Juan Carlos in Almuñecar started

THE improvement works of sewage systems in the Avenida Rey Juan Carlos I (Almuñecar) were kicked off last Monday (September 28).

A total of 174 metres are to undergo renovations, from the roundabout of Calle Hurtado de Mendoza until the Puerta del Mar seafront.

“There will be a few traffic cuts,” said Jose Manuel Fernandez said Street Works Councillor, who continued: “Calle Luis Morell will be open to access the Figares district; however, there Velilla will only be accessed through Las Gondolas and the Puerta del Mar access through Helga Shonell will also be open.”

The councillor apologised to all residents and visitors for the inconvenience and thanked them for their understanding.
