UNEMPLOYED residents in Motril, Torrenueva, Calahonda and Carchuna are to be aided by programmes to help them find their way back into the labour market and aid them with other payments.
Social Services councillor, Gregorio Morales, together with other council representatives has presented the two programmes designed by the Junta de Andalucia Regional Government to help unemployed people at risk of exclusion or poverty.
With a budget of €21,672, the first one, called “Special plan for employment in Andalucia,” will hire jobless residents who have trouble accessing the labour market, for a period of between 15 days and three months. The second one (€26,000) is designed to help families afford basic needs, bills and rental fees.
