Police investigate Las Lagunas shooting victim’s past

AS POLICE investigations continue into two shootings in the Mijas Costa area in just one week, the first victim is believed to have been arrested in 2007 in relation to two other deaths.

The Colombian man, Alexander JB, who was shot to death in his car in Las Lagunas on September 17, was allegedly arrested eight years ago during investigations into the deaths of two Colombian men in Fuengirola, one of whom was reported to be his brother-in-law.

As searches continue for the two men who shot Alexander dead from a powerful motorbike before speeding off the police are working on various lines of investigation.
