ELDA-PETRER: A house was located where drugs were growing.
THE Commissioner of the National Police of Elda-Petrer has dealt another blow to smallscale drug trafficking after dismantling an alleged drug trafficking gang selling cocaine.
A police raid at a house located close to the cemetery of Santa Barbara has discovered two plantations of marihuana hidden in the back garden as well as a quantity of marihuana and cocaine at the premises.
They have arrested two men and two women aged between 20 and 30 years old who on top of the drug charges will also be charged with alleged theft of electric power after an illegal connection was also discovered at the premises connected to the mains network.
The house was heavily fortified with tight security, with double gates at the entrance and high fences. The four are currently being held in prison waiting for a court date.
