THE Portuguese superstar has stated that he could be leaving Madrid next year and Manchester United is on standby to snatch the talented left winger.

Ronaldo is geared up and ready for a new challenge and after spending seven years at Madrid, United officials are desperate to get Ronaldo back on the pitch at Old Trafford to see out the rest of his career.

However, United face stiff competition as Paris St Germain are also waiting in the wings to sign Ronaldo and are willing to go to extra lengths to secure the world class player.

Real have announced that they would want a new world record fee of £90million for Ronaldo next summer as they believe his effortlessly eloquent scoring ability and global status validates asking for this high price.

However, this does not faze United; they are willing to win back one of their greatest players whose name is still chanted by the United crowds, at all costs.

Ronaldo became an international football icon while playing for Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United and went on to take his stardom to the next level, signing for Real Madrid in 2009.

Next summer’s football transfers can´t come quick enough for fans as time will tell where the footballer will next hang his boots.
