Man arrested over violated restraining order

A MAN was arrested in Motril after violating a restraining order which forbade him from seeing his ex-partner.

The victim alerted the 112 services after seeing the man outside her house, screaming and insulting the woman. Local Police immediately attended the area and the man fled the scene when he noticed the authorities.

After confirming that the man had in fact violated a 500-metre restraining order, they found him and took him into custody.
