Producers invited to promote Costa del Sol

A GROUP of producers from the UK, Holland, France and Denmark have been on a familiarisation trip to the area organised by Tourism Costa del Sol in collaboration with Antequera, Coin, Ronda and Malaga City councils and the Spanish Tourism Office in London.

The promotional event was planned to encourage advertising and other types of filmings on the Costa del Sol by introducing producers to the area’s services and attractions.

The group, which stayed in the area from Tuesday to Friday last week, included representatives from The Location Guide, Warner Bros Studios Leavesden, Twickenham Studios, Nice Entertainment Group, Kanzaman Monaco, Dankelman Visual Productions, Rebel Movies and Heritage Media.

Malaga-Costa del Sol Tourism head Elias Bendodo stressed that encouraging adverts and films to be recorded in the area is a good way of attracting tourists to the area and also helps create employment and extra income.
