WORK on the seafront promenade in Carvajal continues as planned, and is hoped to be finished by March, the local mayor explained during a recent visit to see how work was progressing.
The work, Fuengirola Mayor Ana Mula explained, started in January and was expected to take 14 months with a budget of €2.4 million.
New service equipment (drainage, water pipes and cables), pavements, road surfaces and parking spaces are all part of the project, which also includes improvements to beach access points and the wall between the promenade and the beach.
