Missing Paraguayan girl spotted by passerby in Malaga City and returned safely home

A FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD girl from Paraguay who went missing in Malaga City on Monday (September 14) has been found safe and reunited with her family, the police have reported.

The girl, Katherine Alonso Samaniego, lives with her mother and other siblings in the city and had last been seen when she left their home near Calle La Union at lunchtime on Monday.

Pictures of the teenager were distributed by the police, and a passerby notified the National Police force after spotting her alone on Avenida de Sor Teresa Prat in the western part of the city on Wednesday.
