LA LINEA’S Mayor, Juan Franco, has been on a visit to the fire station in Zabal industrial estate to see the premises and discuss ways to pay off the city’s debt with the provincial fire brigade, estimated to be more than €1 million.
Accompanied by Citizens’ Safety councillor Bernardo Piña, the mayor was given a tour of the station and its vehicles and introduced to firemen on duty at the time.
“It was quite a nice visit but we have various matters to discuss including how to pay off our debt and ways to improve the service,” Franco later reported.
