NATIONAL POLICE in Benidorm have detained two men accused of committing five separate robberies of shops from August 23- 26, stealing a combined amount of €5,000. The criminals were caught after a security guard at a commercial gallery noticed the two men on the roof of a restaurant.
The pair were later detained at their hotel and found to be in possession of a bag containing various tools that could be used for breaking and entering including bolt cutters and specialist tools that demonstrated a high degree of professionalism.
The pair had more than 63 previous counts of theft resulting in the judge ordering their immediate imprisonment.
